Quality
Assurance:
a.
All aluminum
material specified to be the same color on the job must be anodized by the
same facility/company, to ensure consistent color and appearance.
b.
Anodizer
must use computer-controlled crane system, to control tank time and bath
parameters, to ensure color consistency on all material for the job
c.
For lineal
extrusions, anodizer must use weld-racking, not clamp-racking, to ensure
color consistency for all material on the job
d.
No secondary
billet/stock shall be used, to avoid contaminants that will affect
anodizing appearance and color.
e.
Alloy and
temper shall be same for all anodized aluminum, to ensure consistent color
and appearance.
f.
For
panels/sheets, all material for job must be from the same coil stock, to
ensure color consistency. For a very large project that must exceed a
single coil stock, the same coil stock should be used within each
elevation.
