Spattercoat
is achieved by first painting the under coat color over the
entire exposed surface. The material is then spattered with the
remaining color to give it a 3D effect. The options of
spattercoat are endless. You can select any colors imaginable,
and multiple colors can be used for the spattering. The spatters
can be large or small, many or few, thick or thin, speckled or
swirled. It is a completely custom process.
In addition to
simulating natural, earthy, and artificial surfaces, our
spattercoat process offers the opportunity to create a truly
unique, personalized building. We can also keep within your
prescribed color palette to maintain corporate identity
standards or match school colors.
To achieve these
one-of-a-kind spattercoat finishes, Linetec utilizes Kynar 500®/Hylar
5000® Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) resin based paints.
These photos
showcase Linetec's stone-look coping that gives the appearance
of traditional masonry stone caps found on many high-profile
jobs today, but at a much lower cost.
