Trucking Types Available
-
Accordion Trailer
~ A flatbed trailer with an attached tarping system. The tarp
system can be slid to the front or to the rear of the trailer to
allow side access to material loaded on either end of the trailer.
The trailer can be loaded with an overhead crane, pallet jacks, or
a forklift with the ability to load or unload from the side or the
tail. The accordion trailer is ideal for lineal shapes, bundles, boxes, and crated material. The material does need to be strapped
therefore material must be packaged appropriately; skids and
crates must have closed tops.
-
Open Top
Trailer ~ A hard side trailer with an open / tarped roof.
Ideal for overhead crane loading and unloading. Hard sides
eliminate the need to strap material. Airbags can be used to snug
material against walls; ensuring product is damage free during
transport. Open top trailers can also be loaded from the tail end
at dock height with forklifts and pallet jacks.
-
Flatbed
Trailer
~
A flatbed trailer can be loaded with an overhead crane, side
loaded with a forklift or end loaded with a forklift (when a dock
is available). Material must be strapped down, therefore
sufficient packaging is required (enclosed crates to allow
strapping). Typically used for job site delivery to allow crane
unloading.
-
Local
Delivery Trucking ~ Our semi trailer and straight tuck are
used for local deliveries within a 30 mile radius. These trucks
are also used for transferring material between Linetec
facilities. Enclosed trailers have the capability to haul carted
material as well as crates, skids, etc.
